Importance of Regular Car Service

A regular car servicing can be a beneficial investment in the long-term because:

Full Service

A full service should be carried out by all road vehicles annually to keep your automobile roadworthy and safe, or if your car drives long distances it should be services every 12,000 miles traveled.

Interim Service

An interim service is recommended for cars doing very high mileage and should be undertaken every 6,000 miles your car travels. Alternatively, your car should be brought in for an Interim service every 6 months between full services.

It's important that your suspension is maintained as they can reduce the braking efficiency, cause poor cornering and produce tyre wear. We'll ensure that the comfort and suspension systems are kept at optimum levels of performance.

A new clutch may need to be fitted if parts of the clutch mechanism are not adjusted in- line properly. The friction plate can also become faulty through oil covering any parts or broken gearbox mounts.
